New Year and away we go. Brad and Sharon paid a quick visit to Berlin and we did a whirl wind tour. Then Anne and I made a dash to Rome Italy and also paid a quick visit to the Pope in Vatican City! Good Times, was awesome!
Most of January. Not sure if we will be up to any more adventures before Feb!

March went so fast. Anne and I both had lots of work to keep us busy. It was still really cold too with plenty of snow so we stayed indoors as much as possible.

April has been good. We have seen a few warm days which is nice. We had a great Easter with a trip to Meissen home of Europe's First Porcelain a walk in the forest and plenty of great food. I just added a few last photos for April, the awesome juggling guy and a couple of others for interest

May has been warm and cold but we have made the most of the warm days. Mai/May Day is a public holiday here, kind of like Labour Day. Was a great day off either way.

Then Felix arrived and we had ice cream, beer and a BBQ, not all at the same time. The atmosphere is building for the soccer and the city is buzzing. We did the "Walk of Ideas" which was fun and the sculptures were impressive.

I have added a small trip Feli and I did to Potsdam on the edge of Berlin to check out another castle.

June has been a great month. The WM2006 is here and the Germans have won 4/4 games so far. There was the Carnival of Cultures which was good market wise but Carnival wise well... we ate some good gurkens.

Warm weather, we went to an outdoor movie/keno which was great.
Then came Athens Greece, oh-yeah, that was great. First day sight seeing Athens, second day exploring an island with a scooter and third day chilling in Athens.

Great weather and good fun. We went to see Anne's family to say good bye.

Then in Berlin Christine, a friend from Hong Kong came to visit for a few days so we did the tourist thing plus a trip to the lake.

We bought an underwater camera for our trip to Spain and Portugal so sure to have some shots from that too when we return.

Mission To The Other Side Of The World

The way flights and time worked we didn't make it to the point we wanted but it was pretty close.

We traveled from Malaga Spain along the South Coast to Portugal and then up Portugal's West coast to Lisboa and then straight across to Madrid Spain and flew home. 10 days of sun, beach, swimming and just cruzing around.

Tokyo Time

Well, my Work and Holiday Visa in Germany came to a very quick end. I had a great time but had to leave. Tokyo was next on the cards. Time to head back and help out in the family business.

Plenty of interesting things, places and people in Tokyo. We even made it out of Tokyo for a few days to Otara.

I escaped back to Germany for a few weeks where Anne and I then dashed off to Barcelona which was great! Then I returned back to New Zealand and enjoyed some warm weather with the boys.
