February already, where does the time go? Well, we have done a few things, fire night on the beach, once a yeah surf at Rabbit Island, stroll up to the Centre of New Zealand, a trip to the longest swing bridge in NZ and a local history gold tour and a wonderful dinner at The Boat Shed.

What a great way to end the road trip. We were woken the first morning at 7am with a $1,000 warning if we were still there at 8am. So off we went to find a new camp site. That didn't stop us from having a great time though. Good company, good food and beer.

Good Times! We did some down hill luge around Nelson one night just a couple of pics of the boards. The big event though was R and I hitching to Queenstown for a luge! We didn't make it, but we did see Jennie, Teece and Sven in Dunedin! We also made it back in time for work.

Slow start to May. We went to the dump for ideas and came back with 3 kids bikes. We spent the night putting 2 back together. The next day took them out for some downhill action.

Then things got interesting! Two 21st Birthdays, a couple of kayak missions and some scooters!

Lots happened in July. Lots of work and lots of play. More photos of play though ;-) Long flight to Germany with a Typhoon in Taipei adding an extra 30 hours to my flight. Plenty of pictures from our sight seeing.

YEAH! Sight seeing in Berlin, a museum of Jewish history in Germany, German culture, buskers festival, some nature at Anne's Opa's Birthday, wurst on the train going to Bavaria to see Felix, sight seeing, Roman history, German beer and food, more sightseeing, Nazi museum, more beer, Anne's parents, some outdoor adventure, a summer luge which was REAL COOL and an awesome sunrise on the way home. I think that's all?

Some Berlin History about the SS and other Terror methods. Adventure including the biggest see-saw I have ever seen! Some relaxation on the lake and at the Baltic Sea. Then a visit to the Reichstag on a murky day to check out the view.

Good Times! Joel came to Berlin and we talked Feli into skipping an exam to join us too. We did all the sites, ate the best curry wurst in Berlin and even fitted in a day trip to Poland!

Paul is in Berlin and already we have had some fun! Tuesday night we went to Franz Ferdinand with The Rakes as the intro band. Very good concert! We came out very wet and with ears ringing after pushing/moshing to 3 rows from the front. Then Friday night we went out for a few drinks and to a Sisha bar where they sell flavoured tobacco. Out for a few more drinks and some snow to boot!

To claim that the chilli wont be hot and eat it in one go is brilliant! Thanks Paul, that gave me giggles all week. We had a real dump of snow, not that it lasted long but went out and made the most of it and took some photos of the Christmas in Berlin.

December was off to a slow start but we all knew things would become crazy! With most of the shopping done we made our way to Anne's family. We stopped in Leipzig to catch up with some of Anne's friends and then went to Dresden. Dresden is a German city of culture. The things you never know coming from an island on the other side of the world. More to come, don't worry about that!
