During October there was spring snow to be carved, caves to be explored and birthdays to be celebrated. Lots of fun things have been done.
The snow photos follow on from the last album when we were at Castle Hill.
I also picked up a van, Toyota Hiace with 4×4 hi/lo. Bring on the summer missions! I have already squeezed a couple in Photos coming in the November album.
While Teece and I were in Castle Hill snowboarding we snapped some moving footage to go with the still shots.
This footage was from our day at Broken River. Teece ripping it up, a nice big air, some sledding which results in sliding down the side of the ridge, and a few photos to end an awesome trip.
September was a great month. Lots of fun things to keep me busy. I spent time painting, cleaning and modding the BBQ ready for another summer. Painted up the bat phone. Did a bit of driving and caught some magic shots of a Kaikoura sunrise.
It was school holidays but I would have to say you wouldn’t have known. We pretty much had the fields to ourself and we had fresh snow and blue sky days everyday we went up.
Saturday mornings at the netball courts are always fun when you have a fresh dusting of snow to look at
A few photos from July, we went to Nelson to visit family that were in town for a special visit. I also watched my sister and brother play netball and rugby while admiring the cold mornings we were having.
=-)
Spring and rabbits, well the photos are from May, but never mind, I need to catch up on the photos so I can post the fun things we have been doing the last 6 weeks.
=-)
They have been a long time coming but here they are!
March was the end of the summer Good Times! Felix and I did a few last things on the West Coast like Wild Foods. The food is getting more tasty opposed to more wild but we had a good time anyway.
We spent our last few days sleeping on the beach, driving along the beach, and surfing at the beach.
After Felix left I carried on with the surfing around Christchurch, fitting in as much as I could before the weather became colder and I lost my wheels for the winter.
A couple of show photos of Brent’s work of Subaru WRX auto mobile.
And 1 photo of a disappointing live concert of Queens of the Stoneage. Not entirely their fault, someone hired a sound crew hardly worthy of setting up a home entertainment system. They were then followed by Smashing Pumpkins who I would say sounded even worse so I went home early.
