Kees and I decided to do an overnighter up the lake on a random inspiration of fun.
We packed our fishing rods just as an extra reason to walk for 3 hours in the beautiful native bush.
Once we walked to the head of the lake we had something to eat and then went to hide from the sand flies and find the fish that were hiding from us 
Not much luck with the fish, but the weather was awesome and we had a great night out under a big old native tree.
